FFA

Future Farmers of America is a dynamic youth organization that is a part of agricultural education programs at middle and high schools. Today, student members are engaged in a wide range of curriculum and FFA activities, leading to over 300 career opportunities in agriculture. The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Jr. Beta

The Jr. Beta Club is a student-centered organization, which continually develops and nurtures individuals by providing opportunities and experiences, enabling them to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service, and leadership in a global community.
Students who maintain honor roll status during their middle school education are invited to participate in this prestigious club. Students complete a series of community service projects, including collecting pet supplies and necessities for local animal shelters, writing and sending Christmas cards to nursing home residents, creating and mailing care packages for U.S. troops, maintaining the student entrance at RMS, and collecting loose change and canned items for local students in need.  With students’ involvement in this club, it helps all of us understand the importance of serving others.

BookChatters
